About Midwest Elite Track
The Midwest Elite Track program is located in three cities in Kansas, Ottawa, Louisburg and Iola. Formed from the previous Ottawa Track Club. The club was founded by Aaron Miller and Kord Ferguson and was active for three years before forming the Midwest Elite Track program. We are sanctioned by USA Track & Field the national governing body, as well as the Missouri Valley Association the local governing body. Our goal is to assist young athletes from the ages of 6-18 interested in increasing their physical fitness, and teamwork skills through track and field club competition.

Our goals are to prepare our athletes for the next level.  While having fun and embracing many teaching moments. One of many will be to teach students that athletic achievement is not the only way to achieve a scholarship but that they need to be prepared for their academic success as well. We will expose our athletes to track and field programs at large major universities to smaller programs throughout the United States.

We encourage our athletes through ACT prep, as well as enrolling in the NCAA/NAIA eligibility center.
We will measure our success not only through athletic achievements, but through social learning experiences as well.

At the end of the season we measure that success by measuring our athletes and seeing if they are more exposed, have higher self asteem as well as being in better health.
We started officially our first season in the summer of 2015.
